True 4-Inch Catless Downpipe for the B46 engine. This downpipe features a 4-inch diameter all the way until after the flex pipe for maximum exhaust flow. It will bolt up to your stock exhaust but if you want a 4-inch custom exhaust all you need to do is cut right after the flex pipe and weld for a true 4-inch turbo back! 

No more fiddling with seized OEM clamps! Everyone has heard horror stories on how the oem clamps make installation a huge pain because they are often seized and due to their poor design it results in annoying exhaust leaks. When you purchase a downpipe we include a free aftermarket 3 inch v-band that will make installation much easier and ensure no exhaust leaks!

B46 4-Inch Downpipe

Took awhile to ship but they warned me of that before purchasing. Sounds great on my car and was super easy to install. Came with all the required clamps and Kevin was very helpful and responsive with any questions I had. Will be ordering more from here soon!

Great Quality, had to cut for install

The quality alone is 5 star, install was not as smooth for my 2024 230i xDrive. OEM exhaust uses a factory clamp-style slip-fit connection which will not work with the V-band flange on downpipe, unless you buy an adaptor. Had to cut the flange end off the downpipe but it did slide into OEM exhaust. Had to permanently remove exhaust hanger do to fitment/placement of downpipe; would not align up properly. The OEM downpipe bracket is a very tight fit for the O2 sensors. Took awhile to get the 02 sensor placement above bracket. I recommend cutting or removing OEM downpipe bracket. Also recommend purchasing another M8-1.25 x 60 bolt for the longer length when clamping OEM V Band clamp to new downpipe with new gasket to turbo.

Awesome product!

Install was not too difficult & it looks amazing with the lava wrap! I put this on my B48. (Euro spec) No complaints on quality of the material or welds, amazing deep sound compared to other downpipes, and it’s fully able to work on the B48 if you’re able to weld a pipe to the downpipe or fabricate a custom v band solution with the band provided by IPOS!

AMAZING!

Rarely do you meet a person that stands behind their products and is there consistently to answer your questions and give you advice. IPOS MS is an amazing brand and its owner Kevin Jimenez is even more so. I had 20K questions and not once was he condescending. He answered them all and made me feel like I should as a customer with ZERO knowledge. I have not had any other downpipes installed on my vehicle but this sounds INCREDIBLE! It’s not obnoxious and very refined and classy as a BMW should be (Especially for a B48 4 cyl- It’s not an M5) . Just enough to turn heads but not like some rice rocket.
